Doc and Mrs. Lefkowitz, early 1970's

Pathfinder Country Day Camp was founded by Dr. and Mrs. Lefkowitz. The Lefkowitz's were school teachers who had a dream of creating a children's summer camp. In 1965, the gates to Pathfinder opened with twenty five campers. Dr Lefkowitz drove the bus and Mrs Lefkowitz taught swimming and made lunches for the children. Together with their daughter Nancy, they established a wonderful place for children to enjoy their summers.
